Penalties for breaking house rules

At RoomsValencia, we strive to create a safe and respectful community for students. To maintain a harmonious living environment, it is essential that all guests abide by our house rules. Failure to do so may result in penalties or consequences, as outlined below based on our House Rules:

1. Quiet Hours Violation
   First Offense: Warning from RoomsValencia.
   Second Offense: A fine of 100€ or additional charge.
   Third Offense: Termination of the booking without a refund.
2. Unauthorized Guests
   A fine or additional charge of 100€/month for each unauthorized guest.

All additional guests must vacate the space within 24 hours. In the event of not paying the extra fee or extra guests not leaving the Room or Apartment, RoomsValencia will terminate the contract without a refund.

3. Smoking Inside the Property
   First Offense: Cleaning fee of 200€ and a warning.
   Second Offense: Termination of the booking without deposit refund.
4. Use of any illegal drug
   The consumption of any illegal drug inside the flat will entitle RoomsValencia to apply a fine of 200 euros. In the event that RoomsValencia deems it necessary, this may additionally lead to immediate termination of the contract.
5. Pets Violation
   Charge of the Pet Fee applied (250€) and a warning and the contract will be terminated immediately. Both the tenant and the pet must leave the apartment.
6. Damaging Property
   The guest will be held responsible for the cost of repairs or replacements, as determined by the host.
7. Violation of Local Laws
   The guest will be held responsible for any fines or legal consequences resulting from their actions.
   RoomsValencia shall be entitled to terminate the contract with immediate effect for any breach of law that RoomsValencia considers to be a serious offence.
8. Disruptive Behavior or misconduct towards RoomsValencia staff or any tenant.
   RoomsValencia shall be entitled to terminate the contract with immediate effect for any breach of law that RoomsValencia considers to be a serious offence.
9. Failure to Follow Check-Out Procedures
   In case of failing to comply with the check-out procedures, the tenant will be required to pay a fee of 25 euros for each hour of delay in vacating the apartment. The full hour will be billed for exceeding the time, even if the delay is a matter of minutes.

If the cleaning is deemed exceptionally extensive due to the tenant’s lack of responsibility and the extremely dirty condition of the apartment, an additional cleaning fee of 100 euros will be applied.

Tenants are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the house rules and adhere to them to avoid any inconveniences or penalties during their stay. RoomsValencia reserves the right to take further action in extreme cases or if a guest’s behavior is repeatedly disruptive or harmful to the community. This standardized approach ensures that warnings are consistently applied for all house rule violations, and after any second warning, RoomsValencia has the right to terminate the contract to maintain a respectful and harmonious community for all RoomsValencia users.
